How to properly record your golf swing to be able to analyze it correctly

There are loads of quality swings to watch on IG or Youtube. But unfortunately, many of them are recorded from weird angles that make it hard to analyze them properly.

So for you to not make the same error as many others. Have a look at this video below from PGA tour coach Jeff Smith @ Course Kings explaining in detail how to correctly record your swing.

Summary:

1. Down the line view

Position camera shooting down the toe-line @ sternum height relative to the target.

2. Caddie view

Position camera directly at the center of the stance facing the sternum.

We highly recommend that you get yourself some alignment sticks and a tripod for your recording device.
